Methods of QFT in Condensed Matter Physics

The course will include

·       30 lectures (4 hrs. per week on Monday, 12-14, room A450; and on Tuesday, 14-16, room A449),

·       14 tutorials (2 hrs. per week on Tuesday, 16-18, room A449).

Notes:

·       time/venue can be changed.

·       Oct. 29, 30 & Nov. 6 – a crash course in theory of disordered systems (lecturer: Maximilian Treiber)

·       time for questions and discussions:

o   Wed., 17:00-18:00, room A416 – before 15.01.2013,

o   No fixed time after 15.01.2013, additional discussions will be scheduled immediately, when needed - send an e-mail to the lecturer (or to the tutor) asking for a slot.

·       no classes from Dec. 24 till Jan. 6

·       the final exam: 28/02/2013 from 10:00 till 14:00, room A234

 

Lectures and tutorials will embrace physics of many-body systems (both clean and disordered) and basic modern method allowing one to develop a theory of such systems, see Announcement and Prerequisites for more details.
