Methods of QFT in Condensed Matter Physics

The course will include

· ~30 lectures (4 hrs. per week - on Monday, 12-14 and on Tuesday, 14-16 - room A450),

· ~14 tutorials (2 hrs. per week on Friday 14-16 – room A449).

Important notes:

· No classes from Dec. 24 till Jan. 6.

· Lectures No. 3 (on Oct. 13) & 4 (on Oct. 14) will be taught by Dennis Schimmel + there will be no tutorial on Oct. 17.

· The will be no lectures on Dec. 22 & 23

· Remaining 4 lectures will be compensated in February 2015

· The final exam will be on Tue., Febr. 17, starting from 10:00 (room A249)

Lectures and tutorials will embrace physics of many-body systems (both clean and disordered) and modern methods allowing one to develop a theory of such systems beyond the trivial perturbation theory, see Announcement and Prerequisites for more details.
