Methods of QFT in Condensed Matter Physics

The course will include
· 30 lectures (4 hrs. per week - on Monday, 12-14 and on Tuesday, 14-16 - room A450),
· 15 tutorials (2 hrs. per week, date/time of the tutorial will be adjusted during the 1st lecture).
Important notes:
· An appointment for questions and additional discussions can be settled via e-mail.
· Nov. 4 + 5 – substitutions by Lode Pollet.
· The seminar on “Topological Insulators and Superconductors” has started on Nov. 7, 12-14, room A348.
· No classes from Dec. 24 till Jan. 6.
· The last lecture of 2013 has been shifted from Dec. 23 to Febr. 11.

The final exam will be on Febr.
18, starting from 10:00, room A450;

Lectures and tutorials will embrace physics of
many-body systems (both clean and disordered) and basic modern method allowing
one to develop a theory of such systems beyond the trivial perturbation theory,
